聖喬治教堂位於CORNWALLIS城堡以東的FARQUHAR街上，它是馬來西亞最古老的英國教堂。這座莊嚴、宏偉的教堂之建築比例對稱，它有大理石的地板及高高的尖頂。這也是由英殖民政府指示罪犯於1818年建立而成，其入口處設有一座紀念遮篷，用以紀念萊特最初抵達檳城時的景象

The Penang Hill Funicular Railway was built in 1907. It was based on the classical technology with steel cable pulling the train electrically. The steel cables were imported from Swiss, with more than 500 V electric motor rotating a giant gear on top of the hill.

邱氏祠堂

$ i& m, P0 e) m% C檳城可謂華族宗祠林立，這些宗祠也稱為“公司“。所謂“公司“，即各宗族所設立的祠堂，可供該族群或同姓式的族人，定期聚會或開會之用，它同時也是一座廟堂。設計精緻的邱氏祠堂，是到目前為止檳城島上最大的華人宗祠。它同時也被稱為龍山堂，其建築物上有很精緻的木雕及鍍金、富有色彩的磚瓦，還有設計獨特的龍、鳳凰及神明的圖案等。檳城龍山堂邱氏祠堂的建築工程始於1853年，但是中間面對許多阻撓，最後終於在1898年正式竣工。

觀音亭位於檳城喬治市正中心的MASJID KAPITAN KELING路上，它是由1800年代最早移民到檳城的華裔所建。這座檳城最古老的華人廟宇，在觀音誕辰慶典時，常常吸引許多善男信女蒞臨膜拜。

2 L" p: j& i* h! L$ K從邱氏祠堂走一小段路，就會到達ACHEEN街回教堂。這座回教堂是於1820年由一名富有的阿拉伯商人所建。當年，此回教堂是這一區馬來及阿拉伯商人聚會及開會的重要地點。
