That is why you need insurance over here in the US. I bet the cost in other  area should be similar but somehow the Government is sponsoring  most of the cost, for an example, cost in Hong Kong is getting just like US now.

Where in Canada are you from?  BC MSP doesn't include dental coverage except surgery done at the hospital.  It would be interesting if other province provide dental coverage but not in BC.

在美国生活了 35年,結論是: 一你要是超有錢的人 (幾百萬以上),不用担心医療費用。另一是貧窮線以下的窮人 ,医葯,医院及看牙科全免費。 只有所謂的中產階級最慘,  年薪收入只係超過貧窮線少少,你休想申請任何補助 !如果你欠醫院或醫生費 逾期不準時付費,他們馬上轉你的欠費給追數公司代為追數, 直到你回應或完全付費為止 。而同時,你的信用標準( credit line)會完全破壞 !
