[新聞] MANCHESTER UNITED ODDS-ON FAVOURITES TO LAND REAL MADRID'S

United bound: Speculation is mounting of a move to Old Trafford for Kaka.

Manchester United have become odds-on favourites to seal a stunning season-long loan deal for Real Madrid playmaker Kaka.
Leading London bookmakers have reacted swiftly to rumours circulating on Twitter that the 30-year-old is set to follow Robin van Persie to Old Trafford this month.
Odds of 6/1 have tumbled on Sunday to a best priced 8/11 as speculation mounts that Sir Alex Ferguson is set to launch a bid to sign the Brazil international with the topic trending worldwide on Twitter.
Ferguson had said at van Persie's unveiling on Friday that he could yet add to his squad before the transfer window closes on August 31 "if a certain player would become available".
Many are speculating that Kaka is the player in question ahead of other reported targets - Everton left-back Leighton Baines and Fulham midfielder Moussa Dembele.
Madrid boss Jose Mourinho admitted earlier this month that he was open to letting Kaka leave the Bernabeu, with former club AC Milan among those linked with the playmaker.
Kaka himself recently admitted his time three-year stay in the Spanish capital could be coming to an end having failed to live up to expectations following his £56million switch from Milan.
"It is possible that I could leave Madrid this summer. I don’t know yet," he told ASrecently. "If this was to be the case then I would want to play for another big European club and try to win titles again."
A move to Old Trafford would certainly match his ambitions, although it remains to be seen whether the bookmakers will be proven right given the embarrassing riches of attacking talent already at Ferguson's disposal.
The summer arrival of Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund as well as the likes of Nani, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young already being on the club's books would suggest a move for Kaka is nothing more than rumour.
However, Ferguson has shown in the past he is not afraid to bring players to the club on a short-term basis with the loan signing of Henrik Larsson in 2006 particularly successful as the Swede helped the club land a first title in four seasons.
Kaka, who has also been linked with Paris Saint Germain and Galatasaray this summer, has been named in Madrid's 22-man squad for their Primera Division opener against Valencia on Sunday night.
