Chelsea are on the brink of landing another huge transfer deadline day signing with the capture of Benfica defender David Luiz for a fee of £25million plus midfielder Nemanja Matic.
The Blues’ protracted move for Luiz had looked to have collapsed last week after a month of talks between the two sides.
