Toyota has unveiled the Prius G Sports Concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
Looking like a fish out of water, the concept features numerousstyling tweaks to improve its aerodynamics and fuel efficiency.Modifications include new bumpers, revised side skirts, LED daytimerunning lights, a dual exhaust system, and 18-inch alloy wheelsoutfitted with high performance tires.
Inside, the car boasts a revised steering wheel, RECARO sport seats,aluminum pedals, black piano trim, and a new information display.
Like the standard Prius, power comes from a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 73 kW (99 PS) and 142 Nm of torque.
While the engine is unchanged, Toyota made some minor modificationsto improve the car's dynamics. They installed chassis reinforcementsand a high performance ADVICS braking system. |
