alien words!!

can someone help me out here??

i tried to search some info in chinese character using google but after i click "search" the search results are ALL in alien words.
this never happen before to my laptop. can someone tell me y this happened plssss!!! thank you!

可以試試改做萬國碼uicode(UTF-8)
或 Big-5 或 BGK

yea.. i have checked it.. and its original setting is unicode. hai~ anyway really thanks for your help. really appreciate it.
