However, if we look at not just HK, but the whole world, I think we should say "The world is dying", instead of just "the city is dying".  When ppl in the U.S were deriding how HK ppl line-up for days just to buy a new iPhone 4s, look at what happened back in their homeland when the new Michael Jordan shoes were launched?
