This is another fun origami for Valentine's Day - the origami heart with wings. I tried to show every step so it may seem like a long tutorial but it really isn't that difficult. Do try folding it!
Steps 1: Start with an origami paper color or patterned side down.
Step 2: : Fold the paper in half into a rectangle:
Step 3: Now, fold the rectangle in half so that it becomes a square.
Step 4: Now, open the paper back up. You should see 2 intersecting creases.
Step 5: Fold the bottom half to meet the crease in the center:
Step 6: Fold the top half to meet the crease in the center:
Step 7: Flip the paper over:
Step 8: Now, you want to fold the right side to meet the crease in the center. BUT do not fold the bottom "flap" over. Follow the photos below:
Step 09: Now do the same for the left side:
Step 10: So now, you should have this:
Step 11: Flip the paper over so you should see this:
Step 12: Fold the top half in two like so:
13: When you fold the top half down, you should see that the top half consists of 2 "flaps" or 2 parts.
You fold down the 1st part, The 2nd part, we need to make some folds with it. Do you see it in the picture below?
14: OK, we are going to make a squash fold on the right side:
15: Do the same thing on the left side:
Step 16: Now we will make a small fold on the left and right sides. See the dash lines below? That's where you'll make the folds.
17: Now, we'll make 2 last small folds at the top where I've drawn the dash lines:
Step 18: And you're done! An origami heart with wings!
