話說在第一次世界大戰前期﹐英國步兵都只是戴著布製的軍帽上戰場打仗。

奇怪的是﹐自此之後﹐在戰場受傷入院的步兵人數居然大大增加。而戰鬥的激烈情況沒有改變過。
