The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 5.39.217.77:88988 q8 c$ r/ p" S, J+ w

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb1 z( I) e1 U+ i
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.公仔箱論壇% h& z9 V# \: P+ b
Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season./ y6 [6 w$ j0 m, T9 o" T! D$ t
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.
8 u: t) s. y2 W& |7 Q* {* Q公仔箱論壇Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. 公仔箱論壇9 z1 z! X& w+ M5 f8 D
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.7 `. _0 J, I; X( w |
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.6 w$ _. k$ p( k* u
