. n* d% D, d' z6 DAlyson Shotz is an American artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1987 and received her MFA from the University of Washington in 1991.8 Q$ {2 A7 m, w8 r, b2 X3 F
In her artwork entitled Mirror Fence (2003), Shotz installed a 138 ft x 36 x 4 inches (42.06 m x 91.44 x 10.16 cm) fence made from acrylic, wood, aluminum and ‘hardware’. The mirrored finish means the fence reflects the surrounding landscape and changes with the seasons.
