[新聞] Man Utd's Ferdinand travelling to Nigeria

Rio Ferdinand will extend his season beyond England's friendly in the Caribbean by travelling to Nigeria next week.
The 29-year-old Manchester United defender, who started in the 3-0 over Trinidad and Tobago, will promote education through football when he is in Lagos supporting a street-football competition and visiting an orphanage.
Ferdinand will arrive in Nigeria on the June 5 as an official guest of the Governor of Lagos, Babatunde Raji Fashola.
Ferdinand said: "It's a country I've heard a lot about through friends and family.
"Education is the best way to empower young people so they can make the right choices in life and I believe that football, through its mass appeal, can play a role in highlighting this.
"Although I'm only in Nigeria for a short time, I'm hoping to learn more about the country and come away with a greater understanding of the challenges young Nigerians face."
