With twelve World Touring Car Championship wins under their beltusing the Daewoo-built Lacetti, Chevrolet unveiled the new Cruze basedWTCC contender for the 2009 season.
3 X% G3 Z, m8 F, i' x" T% l1 uEquipped with a paintjob that appears to be some sort of digitalcamouflage made up of Chevrolet logos, the WTCC Cruze is alreadyundergoing testing for its upcoming debut in Curitiba, Brazil nextspring. So far, the team seems rather confident. According tomotorsport manager Eric Nève, the "new Cruze will be the next milestonein Chevrolet Europe's motorsports history."
