#1, maybe you can lower the aperture, looks like you open your aperture too big (f4 or bigger) so you have almost no depth of field. at macro range, this will make even just the flower seem blurry. if possible, set aperture down to f8 or f11 and use something with more tele, like 105mm or 150mm and don't move too close. about 1m away (from front of lens to flower) is good distance. people who think you can only get a good shot at 15cm is sadly mistaken and selfish.
#2 is ok wor... could be a bit sharper. are you using manual focus? consider focusing on the center of the flower, again, use a lower aperture like f11 or f16 for something this close range. if lighting is not enough, try using a flash or upping your ISO to 400 or 800 (if ISO noise isn't a problem). |
