Manchester United powerhouse Carlos Tevez has set sights on playing for old club Boca Juniors in the future.
The 24-year-old played for Boca until 2005 and plans to return to what he has called his ‘favourite team’ in the future, but Red Devils fans can rest easy as the forward is content with life as a Premier League player.
Tevez attended Boca’s home game on Sunday and spoke of his affection for the club.
“I came here because Boca means a lot to me and I’m delighted to be in stands watching my favourite team,” Tevez told Clarin.
“My intention is to move back to this club when I decide it’s time to return from Europe.
“And I’m hopeful I will match the demands when I play with Argentina.
“As far as I’m concerned, I’m enjoying good form as a Manchester United player.
“Right now I’m not thinking of returning to the Argentinian league.
“At the moment I’m very happy in England and have perfectly settled to their style of football.” |
