Rovers opt to release Tyrrell
Shamrock Rovers have decided to make David Tyrrell available for transfer.
The 23-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements by The Hoops, who are now looking to offload the defender-cum-midfielder.
Even though the Dublin-based club are struggling for players right now due to an injury crisis, Tyrrell has been told that he can move on.
"David Tyrrell has been made a free agent by Shamrock Rovers and is available for transfer with immediate effect," read a club statement.
Meanwhile, Galway United have confirmed that Greg O'Halloran will be placed on the transfer list once he returns to the club in July.
The experienced player is currently on loan in the First Division with Shelbourne and will have to seek new employers during the next transfer window as he is not wanted at Terryland Park. |
