how about 24-70mm or 24-105mm?also is canon lens?i also want to buy one more......but my friend suggest me to buy Sigma lens,bcz the cost is cheaper then canon......wt do u think???

The reason why I will NOT buying after market lens Sigma's lens due to one reason- They are good lens but not good enough! Go out and bring your camera to a camera shop and ask them to use the lens between sigma and canon.  Takes couple pictures and open it in photoshop when you went home.  You will see a big difference between two of them.  Photography is all about light,  I will choose a better lens over camera body.  Better lens can save you a lot of time in photoshop.  Between 24-70mm or 24-105mm sorry i use nikon and I am not sure which one is better, all i can tell is what I have- 14-24mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8, 85mm f1.4 and 105mm f2.8   Hope it help
