美墨現今邊界確立於1848年美墨戰爭之後，目前是全世界最繁忙的邊界，每年約有250萬人以合法方式通過兩國邊界，大量湧入美國的非法移民及嚴重的毒品犯罪問題，已成為美墨關係的重要課題。

On the left, the American is living on a rural land with high rise wall as boundary which appears to me only suitable for prison purpose. ( m, ?: W- I4 s. ?. q
Unlike many other countries, there appears to have little harmonization amongs people living so close to each other. What a pity!!!
