no doubt overall the chinese government has adapted a more "open" policy compare to 15 years ago.  however, public surveillance and internet monitoring continue as we speak.  i'm sure other countries monitor the internet activities within their respective countries too but probably more for economic reasons other than political as in china.9 Y7 ~/ r6 e1 d2 M6 s
