Lauri Dalla Valle arrived at the Academy from Finland and is a player to look out for this season in the Under-18 squad.

Under-18s manager Hughie McAuley said: "Lauri is a striker who spent some time with us last season but this is his first full year with us. He scores goals and comes alive in the penalty area. He is good at getting in the right places at the right time to score goals and is very clinical with his finishing.

"He was very prolific in front of goal at schoolboy level and we are hoping he can do the same for us this season. He needs to improve his game outside the penalty area which we are working on with him but the boy likes to score goals and he will always get opportunities. He is going to be a real asset for us."
