why i always have a red cross while i am downloading

i have read the forum.
& N( r/ c2 |: ~" j  H5 [9 Q- ztvb now,tvbnow,bttvbthey say the "red cross" mean no space on your computer

but my harddisk is not full...how come it still doing that
