Prickly pears - cactus fruits, the one that are sold at the grocery shop are much bigger.

火龍果 is call Dragon fruit here, they are imported from Malaysia or Thailand, quite expensive.  When I visited HK last time, there were lots of 火龍果 for sale, quite cheap.  Its got an interesting texture.
$ G1 L4 `  h8 A( p5.39.217.77:8898Prickly pear are fruit of big cactus plants, the Italian families like to grow them in their garden.  When they are ripe, the person who picks them have to wear thick leather gloves to avoid the spikes.  The fruit is then peeled and sliced and mixed with fruit salad.  Its very sweet, a local delicacy.
