Mastiff

The Mastiff is a large, massive breed with a symmetrical well knit frame.
The name was probably come from the Anglo-Saxon word “masty” meaning “powerful.”
It is recognized as the oldest English breed.
Originally, the dog was a fighting dog.
They respond very well to gentle and patient training.
They are generally a lazy animal, but will be happier and healthier when exercised regularly.
