CAPPADOCIA 卡柏多奇亞 --- 奇石林 , m5 `, W; n& l
在三百萬年前，因為火山爆發，引致大量的火山灰沉積，又經過了幾百萬年的風化侵蝕及雨水沖刷，軟土泥沙留不住，而玄武岩及石灰岩便挺立而出，構成如今所見到的景致，不但成為土耳其的主要觀光點，其獨特的地貌，更被列入聯合國世界文化遺產。tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb/ d2 V) k& `( S6 _6 u2 q8 [- T3 Y
人們總愛將之與雲南的昆明石林相提並論，但在我心中，即使未到此之前，我已對石林不存好感，皆因其不及桂林的靈秀之餘，在大量人工化石的虛假世界，石林的所謂美態，早已喪失殆盡！

曾看過如此的讚美：「整個區域像一座精靈的遊樂場，用大自然的魔法筆精心雕琢而成。」唯有大自然有這樣的力量啊！

Cappadocia (pronounced /kæpəˈdoʊʃə/; also Capadocia; Turkish Kapadokya, from Greek: Καππαδοκία / Kappadokía) is a region in central Turkey, largely in Nevşehir Province.
The name was traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history and is still widely used as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage. In the time of Herodotus, the Cappadocians were reported as occupying the whole region from Mount Taurus to the vicinity of the Euxine (Black Sea). Cappadocia, in this sense, was bounded in the south by the chain of the Taurus Mountains that separate it from Cilicia, to the east by the upper Euphrates and the Armenian Highland, to the north by Pontus, and to the west by Lycaonia and eastern Galatia.[1]
