TheSan Diego Comic-Con, a comic book and popular arts convention, saw therelease of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro TRANSFORMERS Special Editionmodel. But despite the buzz, the real-life Bumblebeeis a huge letdown as the Transformers edition is virtually nothing morethan a simple logo package. Forget about the Z28 bumper and hoodtreatment or the unique alloy wheels used on Bumblebee in theTransformers movie.

Whatsupposedly makes this Camaro special are the Transformer and Autobotlogos on the side panels, the wheel center caps, the sill plates, thecenter console and on the black rally stripes.

Notsurprisingly, the New GM claims that the Transformers edition is asspecial as the movie car. "When the first TRANSFORMERS movie wassetting box office records, we had countless customers asking topurchase the 'BUMBLEBEE' Camaro," said Karen Rafferty, productmarketing director, Chevrolet. "Now, they can buy one with the newCamaro TRANSFORMERS Special Edition. Streets all over North Americawill be buzzing in no time."

Ifyou're still interested, the Transformers kits is priced at $995 andit's offered on the LT V6 and the SS V8 Camaros in Rally Yellow with orwithout the RS package.
