馬東燦（池昌旭飾）是一位非常優秀的節目制作人，他策劃了一檔冷凍人類的企劃，並且作為嘉賓參與了這個企劃。在節目方案中，馬東燦和女嘉賓高美蘭（元真兒飾）將進入冷凍膠囊被冷凍24小時，可在節目進行期間發聲了意外，凍有兩人的冷凍膠囊和負責研究此項目的黃博士（徐賢哲飾）竟然一起消失了。
這一晃眼就是二十年過去，當馬東燦和高美蘭從冷凍中蘇醒時，他們還是被冷凍當年的模樣，但周圍的親戚和朋友們卻都已經年長他們20歲了。馬東燦當年的女友羅河英（尹世雅飾）如今成為了報告局的局長，她堅信當年的節目事故是有人故意而為之。
