動畫是很多人兒時的集體回憶，大部份動畫卻是外國製作，由香港本土製作的動畫電影比較少。今集請來袁建滔、鄒榮肇兩位資深動畫導演，分享入行經歷，以及對本港動畫發展及行業前景的看法。
二人以本地班底，合力將作家厲河的兒童偵探小說改編為動畫電影，秉承小說寓學習於娛樂的風格，還加入搞笑情節及動作場面。建滔透露當中最搞笑的角色特邀阮兆祥聲演，增添戲劇效果。配樂方面，負責單位更遠赴匈牙利，邀請管弦樂團演奏悅耳樂曲。
