警方在深水埗搗破一個非法賭檔，拘捕7男1女，年齡介乎22至70歲，相信部分人有三合會背景。公仔箱論壇! f0 e3 h$ m# F' t7 r, n0 V! y; h
警方昨晚10時許採取行動，並檢獲3萬多元現金，以及約22萬元籌碼。
賭檔已營運約6個月，過去一星期的投注額約160萬元。

Illegal Gambling dens had been a great problem here around 20 years ago; they were all ran by organized crime gangs like the Triads; and most of the patrons were Asians.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb- b: {. N5 z6 @% Y( i3 ]! x
Ever since the proper casino opened, there is hardly any illegal gambling dens.
So it might be worthwhile for the HK Government to consider to put out a tender to build a proper casino with top class entertainment venues, this may help to attract more tourists, stimulate local business; and close the doors of the illegal gambling too.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb! n.
