Barcelona look to have beaten a host of English clubs to the signature of Brazilian right-back Daniel Alves after they agreed a deal with La Liga rivals Sevilla, according to reports in Spain. Ona FM claim Barca are expected to confirm the transfer on Monday.
The deal is thought to be worth 29.5 million euros (£23.5million), a price which could increase to as much as 35.5m (£28.5million) euros if Alves helps the Catalans to league or Champions League success.
