Its the same here, a bit of a pest. To gain the optimum sunlight, it climes onto other plants and strangle them to death. The other problem is when flowering, the pollen can cause hay fever to a lot of people. There is one growing along the fence in my neighbor's garden, it strangled the hibiscus and pontia so badly, I need to trim the honey suckle back every season. It spreads pretty quick too, I have to pull the shoot out every so often; its considered a pest in our local council.
