Moray, 这里不是外星人的杰作, 这是古印加人用来种植农作物的一个场所. 这个田跟我們熟悉梯田的性质不太一样, 梯田是因为大山里没有平地种田, 所以农民把山弄成一层层的阶梯, 一方面是方便耕种, 另一方面是下雨的时候水还会一层层的往下流, 利于灌溉.

而Moray的梯田是因为古印加人发现在不同的温度下种植不同的作物会有不同的效果, 秘鲁地处高原, 别小看这一层田的高度, 每一层的温度都是不一样的. 所以印加人就是利用了这个原理在每一层田地上都种上适当的蔬菜, 是不是很神奇呢?
One of the most visually stunning Inca ruins is at Moray, an archaeological site in Peru approximately 50 km northwest of Cuzco and just west of the village of Maras. In a large bowl-like depression, is constructed a series of concentric terraces that looks like an ancient Greek amphitheater. The largest of these terraces are at the center – they are enormous in size, and descend to a depth of approximately 150 meter, leading to a circular bottom so well drained that it never completely floods, no matter how plentiful the rain. 5.39.217.77:8898; N) g7 h; ]: i/ A0 o/ }5 \4 x
The concentric terraces are split by multiple staircases that extend upward like spokes of a wheel and enable people to walk from the top to the bottom of the bowl.

One of the most remarkable feature of the site is the vast difference in temperature that exist between the top and the bottom reaches of the structure, which can be as much as 15°C.公仔箱論壇" A) Z" Z) g1 z( Z( K: K6 B3 ]

中國梯田會好看一點的.
溫度的頂部和底部之間存在的巨大差異可能為15°C. 這是令人難以置信的.6 U2 r9 m! O3 }6 F; e7 @

實在是很令人著迷的印加文化遺址,Google查了一下,原来这是古印加人的“農業實驗區",坑中的每一層梯田是以模擬不同的氣候条件来建造的。梯田層與層之间的氣候之差是按照每300米高度間的氣候之差来设计的。公仔箱論壇7 D) x/ X% B4 E6 w) d* u+ k9 U

每一層梯田底部都鋪墊著一种與一般石頭的比熱容量相差較大的鹅卵石，古印加人正是利用了这些石頭比熱容量的差别,根据每層梯田所要模擬的氣候，通過改变每層梯田底部鋪墊鹅卵石的厚度，調節出不同的温度，又通過控制灌溉系统達到不同的溼度，從而制造出每層梯田不同的氣候，古印加人就是在这样的人造氣候下培育出了能适合不同氣候下生长的种子。

從高空往下看的話,很有麥田圈的那種神秘又帶點詭異的氣息。

據說，這裡其實是古印加人的農業實驗區。

The Incan civilization was predominantly an agricultural society. The Incas took advantage of the soil, overcoming the adversities of the Andean terrain and weather. The adaptation of agricultural technologies that had been used previously allowed the Incas to organize production of a diverse range of crops from the coast, mountains, and jungle regions, which they were then able to redistribute to villages that did not have access to the other regions.
