I have been to Crater Lake in Oregon in 2010.Crater lake was formed when a volcanic eruption blew a hole at the top of the mountain. After hundreds of years the crater filled with rain water and made a deep lake. Around the lake is 28 miles scenic route you can drive to enjoy it.
