3月14日，日本國內最大的內陸型水族館『京都水族館』在位於京都市下京區的梅小路公園開業。這是京都市內首家水族館，作為京都新旅游景點之一，在開業之前就廣受關注。- S1 x+ I8 c. b# ~1 t7 v6 T0 C( f

該館位於JR京都站西行1公裡處，可從京都站徒步前往。水族館為3層建築，面積約1萬1千平方米。其中共展出約250種、1萬5千只海洋和河流生物，游客們可以近距離觀賞大鯢(俗稱『娃娃魚』)、海狗、海豹和企鵝等。　

據悉，水族館的概念主題為『與水相連、生命』，展示體現了起源於京都的河流最後奔騰入海的自然生物脈絡。水族館由京之河、怪獸、企鵝、大水槽、海豚體育館等9個區域構成。此外，該水族館的另一個加分點是地理位置富有京都風情，可看到東寺五重塔。

營業時間為9時至17時。成人票價2000日元，團體成人票價1800日元。

Japan biggest Aquarium in Kyoto just opened. The entrance fee for audlt is 2000 yen is not too expensive. In Vancouver Aquarium is C$19. I think the collection of fish here should be much more than in Vancouver! Really anxious to see!

2000 yen entrance fee seems too expensive. The only good thing is - it is in Kyoto which can save traffic cost and time.

How much too expensive of the entrance fee is not important. Even you pay 100 yen so what, if they don't give you the thing you want to see. I am sure the Japanese won't do the 將貨就價. If I have the chance I sure will go there to take a look.

去京都欣賞舊古都的美，一個現代化的水族館好像不協調！
