   從京都車站搭乘JR奈良線往南走，即可到達日本茶的生產地宇治，宇治以生產高級的日本茶聞名，市街上有許多家賣茶的老舖，同時也推出美味的宇治茶做的甜點和剉冰。

   創業於1859年的中村藤吉為宇治茶的老舖，可以嘗到裝在竹筒裡、用高級宇治抹茶做的冰淇淋甜點（￥500），以及焙茶巧克力（20個￥1000）等茶香十足的點心。

Macha, or green tea has been closely related with Zen Buddhism in Japan or Chan Buddhism in China, in history and origination.

Japanese green tea n macha r very different from other parts of the world. It is very amazing, unique n original in its characteristics n style. N can be used in a hundred different ways, from tea drinking, dessert, cooking, wine, bread, rice, soup, noodles etc etc.  N I never got tired with green tea, and I just loved green tea n macha by itself or whether infused with other items. Just fabulous, absolutely marvelous in flavor n aroma n the palate.
