If I have the budget, which one should I buy? Canon seems to be going to release a newer version of the 70D. Should I wait?

I had the same question as you do now 4months ago, but I bought the 7D at last. I do feel very happy that I didn't make the wrong choice, because acturally 60D is very similar to 600D in function. But 7D is still the suggested decision which is a higher level camera and it provides more chances for your future improvments.

if budget is not a problem for you, go for 7d and there's no regret, or better take the 5d2

需要拍攝速度和對焦速度，選7D，這兩樣60D是給不到你的。

但60D拍片較正，高低視角拍攝也會更方便。

honestly, I think u better buy a good lens, which is more important than camera...! i have a 60D( for my wife) and 5D, try to take a photo with Canon 85mm 1.2, i can say there's no different!!! Lens is more important...! lens can use for a life, camera not!!!!

60D can't even microadjust the focus.
That means if your lens is slightly front/back focus, you will have big trouble getting sharp photos.

I have the same question last November. Finally I choose 7D.

It's a excellent camera and no complaint.

Mostly I use it for Basketball Competitions.
