The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 5.39.217.77:88988 ?3 e0 h! y) G! o

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.4 m6 z! K& U A4 V) i O2 B6 h# G
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.5.39.217.77:8898" @# K: p- Y$ j+ o
Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.
& D7 Y. ~7 n3 B5.39.217.77:8898Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.) ^! \+ u0 _7 a4 s) ?
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. 公仔箱論壇/ v" z4 E. g1 }9 `
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.' Y$ j' g5 S6 ~' y6 h6 U( D
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.
