The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. * t% k( m4 ]0 c

$ @$ P3 l: w; z9 Ztvb now,tvbnow,bttvbThe first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.
6 Q a7 C" F) E3 SThen there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.
( z' _+ W' }- ~( ^ f* }. QFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season., v0 @6 S( P5 {1 j
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.公仔箱論壇* a! n, D. }6 P
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too.
( @$ Y( ^$ X$ c+ a9 |5 x; n( gHere we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.
' v) a& q3 b0 u7 q+ q公仔箱論壇The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.
