I think body does make a difference on picture quality, since the resolution of the sensor, the performance of white balance quality, the speed of the processor are the key factors of the DSLR, and they all affect the quality of the picture.
Well, if you will add Photoshop as an factor, then a regular DC will get the job done, and you can disgard my comments above.
On film camera, lenses play a huge role, though.
I agree a better body does make a difference on picture quality, but photoshop can not make the picture become better at sharpness. If you want to take a good pictures you need a good body, good lens and photoshop.
I am using cannon30D, 24-70mm F2.8,70-200mm F4, 300mmF4 IS and 1.4x extension tube. All are a little too old, I used it to take more than 30000 pictures. I am going to buy a 5D mark2 soon |
