The alligator snapping turtle  is one of the largest freshwater turtles in the world.
The alligator snapping turtle has a  large, heavy head, and a long, thick shell with three dorsal ridges of large scales
giving it a primitive appearance reminiscent of some of the plated dinosaurs.

大鱷龜（學名：Macrochelys temminckii）是世界最大的淡水龜之一。牠們是擬鱷龜的親屬，體型較大且攻擊性強，較少有天敵，因為牠的最佳防禦就是攻擊。

危險品種的龜，最大可達至 30 多吋長，小心啊！
