每年8月中旬在倫敦舉辦的「諾丁丘嘉年華（Notting Hill Carnival）」，至今已有47年的歷史，是僅次於巴西里約嘉年華，全世界第二大的加勒比海風嘉年華會，這也成為倫敦年度盛事之一，每年吸引上百萬的民眾參與。" j& B# k# f; u3 j2 T

諾丁丘嘉年華的起源就像許多世界著名的遊行活動一樣起源於對大環境的不滿，希望透過街頭活動引起注意，尋求改變，而諾丁丘的嘉年華會主要訴求的是種族包容。諾丁丘嘉年華會最早的起源可追朔到1959年由Claudia Jones在St Pancras Town Hall所舉辦的室內嘉年華，而這場嘉年華會就是為了回應前一年(1958年)在諾丁丘所爆發攻擊移民的諾丁丘種族暴動事件(Notting Hill Race Riot)。之後在1966年時 Rhaune Laslett 也為了訴求族群融合而舉辦了一個小型的街頭派對，結果這兩股勢力結合之下就漸漸演變成常態性的嘉年華活動，而從1976年開始這個嘉年華會就充滿濃濃的加勒比海味道。tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb$ G# g% Q1 \% _

! s8 v* o+ G0 j: f4 o2 o2 Stvb now,tvbnow,bttvb來諾丁丘嘉年華會除了觀看或參與遊行之外，另一個遠富盛名的就是牙買加「Jerk Chicken」，幾乎所有小吃攤販都在賣這種口味特殊的香辣烤雞腿，因此攤位區濃煙密布；並且彌漫著烤肉香味，讓人忍不住直奔烤肉攤買小吃去。在嘉年華會當中如果想要買吃到最好的地方是在Tavistock Road上，那裏攤位多，選擇性多，價錢也比較有競爭性。除了烤雞之外Curried Goat(咖哩山羊)也很有名，有機會的話真地可以嘗一嘗唷。

! |6 ]! E ~9 y: j公仔箱論壇整個活動除了遊行和小吃攤之外，還有許多撥放各類型音樂的小舞台，DJ在小舞台上播放音樂，而台下的群眾就隨著音樂起舞。每個小舞台所主打的音樂都不一樣，喜歡男女纏綿的可以選擇R&B，喜歡熱情有勁的可以選Salsa，喜歡性感扭臀的可以選Hip Hop，喜歡道地加勒比海風的可以選擇雷鬼，總之選擇非常多，應有盡有。
