The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though.

I can't help but to add some caption to these beautiful photos:
1 k& L& ^2 m6 G% R# U+ O, ptvb now,tvbnow,bttvbThe first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.公仔箱論壇4 y& I2 Z2 }! Q' K0 s& @2 ?% r
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb- k5 S+ T: [$ C$ N& _3 l5 `
Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.
J: m% [+ E5 b+ t+ F! nThen there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.公仔箱論壇! X* T5 ?7 |- h! Z
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too.

8 P6 u0 J/ l; V5.39.217.77:8898The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb. h3 X7 k1 J6 R- |: L4 o+ D, O
