[討論] Benefits to The Ronaldo Exit

Now bear with me lads, I realise what a huge lose he is but when I was going through him leaving recently I had some cause for optimism. Lets face it lads. We've lost an enourmous player but there could be a few minor benefits.

1. Team shape: It's hard to argue other than the fact that ourteam of the last two/three years was built around Ronaldo. He waspredominantly playing as a right winger and players like Rooney andothers had to be movd around to accomodate him. With Ronaldo gone, whoknows maybe our team shape will improve and look alot more balanced asa whole. Players like Berbatov and Rooney will no longer be pawns inworking our team to get the best out of Ronaldo. It will now be ourgoal to work as a well oiled unit all working towards the same thing.

2. Spending Power: While i'm not going to deny it's only aslight consolation it still a plus. Before Ronaldo's exit, it lookslike we had very little to spend which to me seems strange consideringwe only purchased Berbatov last summer and had won the league threetime son the trot and would get huge Champions League revenue forreaching the final two years on the bounce.

So where is all our money going? Where are the improvements? Expandingscouting network? Clearing some of the dreaded debt? The money we getfrom this transfer will allow us to be major players in the transferdealings this summer. This will in turn drive up the value of ourplayers but it will also drive up the value of the players ouropposition are viewing aswell as we'll be linked with every Tom, Dickand Harry.

3. Wayne Rooney: I genuinely think the extra responsiblity thatRooney now must carry on his shoulders will be a good thing. He'll beour go to guy when we need a moment of magic. Rooney is the type of guywho somes up United alot more as a club than Ronaldo ever did. He hasamazing skills(one of the most all-round gifted players I've ever seen)and an astonishing workrate to boot. He's Mr. United now and to be fairalways has bene more than Ronaldo. I expect him to flourish thisseason. He's not a pompous, fake-tanned, inflated ego-maniac. He's hardworking but has the skill to back it up.
even though ronaldo is leaving and leaving with a huge sum of revenue behind him, but the biggest problem is that without ronaldo we might not have the man power, and the skill that any team has
