Volkswagen SP-2 Coupe Concept by Marcelo Rosa
Volkswagen SP-2 was built in Brazil from 1972-1976. It was namedafter the firm’s plant in Sao Paulo and was sold only in the SouthAmerican market.Power came from a rear-mounted, 4-cylinder boxer engine thatdeveloped 65 hp, which was good for a top speed of 161 km/h (100 mph).
Now designer Marcelo Rosa has created a modern interpretation ofSP-2. This concept looks good and perhaps some big heads over at theVolkswagen see it as attractive, as we do and we can see somethingsimilar soon as an official concept by Volkswagen.
