[新聞] Silvestre not a done deal for Bordeaux

The signing of Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre is far from straight-forward according to Bordeaux chairman Jean-Louis Triaud.
Silvestre, a long time Girondins fan, has been offered a return to France after nine seasons at Old Trafford.
The versatile defender declared he is attracted by the challenge, but is not prepared to accept a massive pay cut.
“Taking a player with English wages is complicated,” reckons Triaud, who does not seem to be very optimistic about the transfer.
Captain and veteran goalkeeper Ulrich Rame has been linked with a sensational move to Liverpool, but his supremo insists he is going nowhere.
“Forget all the whispers, there won’t be any departures.
“Because all our players are under contract but as well because they really want to play the Champions League with us.
“The objective is to strengthen the squad.”
Les Girondins will play Champions League football for the second time in three seasons and Milan’s Yoann Gourcuff and Caen’s Yoann Gouffran are both on the club’s shopping list.
“Of course those two players interest us,” Triaud added. “But in the case it will not happen, we keep other options.
“They are not the only good players on the market.”
