日本救援隊經過艱苦轉進，于16日15時30分左右抵達四川青川縣縣城喬莊鎮，投入救援工作。日本救援團團長小泉崇說，只要有一線希望，救援團就會努力到最後一刻。新加坡和俄羅斯的救援人員于16日陸續抵達成都，南韓救援隊也即將到達。
