Firstly, I would like to say ... it's a great idea, it gets people out off their chain, unglued from the screen, and do something good for themselves and the environment....
We have community gardens in some slightly more built up suburbs here in Sydney, I haven't joint any of them, but I think they are all sponsored by the local councils and financed by the local community organizations; and they are free to join.
So, in order to attract more participants, I think the joining fee should be halved, and with exemption to those over fifties. The not so young and retired members can contribute to lots of great ideas and valuable experience. ....IMHO... only. |
