Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson has a message for Kobe Bryant — shoot the ball.
Bryant has made only 43 of 108 shots (39.8%) the last six games, but Jackson wants him to be more aggressive with his shot instead of trying to lure defenders into fouling him.
"Kobe's reputation is such that most everybody's staying down on his pump-fakes, not getting up in the air," Jackson said. "He just has to get his shot back in order so that he's taking a shot, not worrying about getting guys up off the floor, trying to create a (free-throw) situation for himself."
Source: Los Angeles Times Mr. 20+ shot per game now get premission to shoot more. Maybe he will shoot 35 shot per game. But he is only making 45%, in the last 6 games, he made only 39.8%. Most NBA player can do that, wake up Phil. First Phil asked Kobe to pass, now Phil wants him to shoot. MAKE UP YOUR MIND PHIL. But if he didn't ask Kobe to pass, Kobe would continue to shoot 30+ shot per game, like 2 years ago. |
