The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb2 \5 D* L3 F7 t9 w2 J- X8 X

Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.5.39.217.772 D/ Q1 c/ v) s- Z' F i9 _$ b# R
Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.$ v3 ~# M& A. r) b# P
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.& S% c: R+ ~0 V: a; l
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall. j! O* {! B& L4 M
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.
