1) CIB are undercover most of the time, and no one else really know they are cops. She has no choice but run the risk and become UC as this is the best chance to get close.
2) When you see each other, you shake hang, nothing wronth with that, they shake hand with everyone else. The ring is a transmitting device to tell everyone to becareful if anyone is caught, a ring is probably the only thing that never need to leave your body, that you can have it on all the time without suspiction. What else do you think they can where? If it wasn't because of the interference, CIB will have never suspect anything wrong with the ring.
