where can I find my downloaded bt file?

I have donwloaded a moive from bt1.23 but cannot find it at my computer after deleting  the task from BT. please help. How can I set up the short cut to download? My friend's son had helped me to set up one before. The movie will go to the shortcut right after I delelted the task from BT. many many thanks from a aunt.
