尤其是在南部溫暖地區,有人埋怨它長勢過強。種植這種忍冬較需修剪管理 Its the same here, a bit of a pest. To gain the optimum sunlight, it climes onto other plants and strangle them to death. The other problem is when flowering, the pollen can cause hay fever to a lot of people. There is one growing along the fence in my neighbor's garden, it strangled the hibiscus and pontia so badly, I need to trim the honey suckle back every season. It spreads pretty quick too, I have to pull the shoot out every so often; its considered a pest in our local council.
The flower does give a nice sweet fragrance though, if you are not allergic to their pollens, you may find it quite nice. (If its not affecting your plants) |
